If you got my first blank post, I am so sorry! LOL I hit return one too many times and poof! Off my unfinished post went into cyberspace...
So, missed me? :) Sorry I've been MIA but it's been another bust week here in the Jones household. My
There She Goes stamps came early last week and I had two cards made up right away, but due to the messy room I know I've mentioned before, I could not find where I had put my Blessings set! Finally, this morning I was able to locate it (why, oh why did I think on top of a bookshelf was a good place???) and got busy.
Here's what I came up with.

This first card was made using the set
Blessings. I stamped the knot image repeatedly tone on tone on Old Olive cardstock (didn't make any guidelines and I thought I'd be sorry but it really is a snap with the clear stamps!). I used markers to ink up the sentiment in Olive and Chocolate Chip and then punched the sentiment out with the Curly Label punch. It's adhered with dimensionals over the SU! stitched ribbon.
Next up is a card using the set
Slow and Steady and
Holidays Galore .

I used the Top Note die on this one. I can't seem to get enough of it and swear I would use it on every card if I could! The dragonfly was stamped repeatedly in Pixie Pink ink on the same colour paper and die cut. It's mounted with dimensionals onto a Papertrey white cardstock base. The Happy Birthday sentiment from Holidays Galore is stamped onto Whisper White paper, cut out and attached with a funky new clip from SU! I tied a bit of May Arts checkered ribbon to finish it off.
Last card for today is using the set
Nature of Friendship.

I rock and rolled the fern stamp with Kiwi Kiss and Old Olive ink. I then used an ink tool to spray some backgound splatters with the Olive marker. It's like the Colour Spritzer tool but it's red, not black. I bought it years ago off The Shopping Channel. I then stamped the sentiment in Memories Black ink. I added a Vanilla panel down the side with two score marks as it looked a bit bare. A black ribbon was tied after it was all mounted to an Old Olive cardstock base. I'm thinking this would be a good "manly" card.
I'd love to know what you think of the new cards! Were they worth the wait? ;) I told you I'd offer up some blog candy for stopping by again so how about this. Leave a comment on this post before 11:59 p.m. Sunday night and I'll randomly select a winner to have Jessica send the new set
Blessings to. My treat!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Hope the rest of your day, and weekend, is great!
This cracks me up!
