How much fun have I had using these ShortCuts? Today I have a card to show you using the clear card blanks. Again, thick and fingerprint free. Beautiful. Too bad my front door isn't made out of the same material so it would be fingerprint free....
I stamped the butterfly image from Butterfly Happiness using white Stazon randomly on the card base. The sentiment was stamped in Rich Razzleberry onto Whisper White, punched along the edge to give interest and adhered to Rich Razzleberry cardstock. I layered some Prima flowers (I never use these for some reason! Perhaps now that I can find them in here I will do so more often...) added a pearl piece (Hero Arts maybe? Sorry, dunno for sure) and adhered the whole she-bang with glue dots. A piece of Crushed Curry is attached on the inside to again make a frame and provide a writing area for the sender. That's it!
Thanks again for stopping by this week to check out the stuff I've made using ShortCuts products and stamps from There She Goes. Check out "the blurb" on Monday's post for details about how to get yourself a discount :) And, you have one more day to get in on the sale Jessica is having due to this month's releases being sold out, so check it out here.
I've got a card for you today using TSG's set Happy Day and frosted card blanks from ShortCuts. Holy super thick! These bad boys are sturdy.
I layered Pacific Point and Summer Sun card stock with Good Morning Sunshine DP from SU! onto the frosted card blank after it was folded up. The ribbon and sentiment stamped in black were added.Inside, I attached a large piece of Summer Sun, big enough that it could be seen from the front and it also provides a spot to write in. A little bird is stamped tone on tone in the corner. Thanks for stopping by today! If you are interested in any of these Short Cuts products, make sure to check out "the blurb" found in Monday's post.Have a great day!
Happy Monday! I told you I would have some ShortCuts samples for you this week , and I do!First, the blurb.
This week’s artist samples are sponsored by ShortCuts. Launched in June of 2008, the sister site to SheetLoad of Cards, is dedicated making your papercrafting quicker and easier. Everybody likes a short cut every now and then!
The first ShortCuts product, available for purchase since July 1, 2008, was Gift Card Holder Folders (GCHF).
The latest ShortCuts product, Clear & Frosted Card Blanks, will help you to make fabulous clear and frosted cards. Each of the stocks is made of a thick vinyl material. Think clear/frosted cardstock – none of that flimsy transparency material. Best of all the clear cards are fingerprint resistant. No more wearing white gloves while making your clear cards. You can also purchase the Clear & Frosted material in Full Sheets (8.5” x 11”).
Their ready-to-assemble-and-decorate products will help you create stunning creations in minutes. Make sure to drop by their blog for lots of inspiration from their wonderful design team.

I decided to try out a gift card holder first. Nifty little things they are and they sure hold that gift card in tight! Using the set Tweeterpated, I created a holder suitable for a new baby's arrival. Colours are Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White. The ribbon band slides off so the gift card can be seen. Easy peasy!Come back tomorrow to see what else I've created using ShortCuts products.
