Bashful Blue seemed too babyish? (better for a Baptism) and darker blue just too dark for this design. I settled on the Baja as it seemed a nice middle of the road blue. Nice for spring too!
I used the set Blessings from There She Goes for the cross and background motif and then paired it with the sentiment from Special Blessing from SU! I used a black marker to isolate the words First Communion and stamped it with the Stamp-a-ma-jig. That thing is awesome. I don't pull it out often, but love it when I do. The info is printed in black onto Whisper White paper and matted on the inside. I only have to make 6 of them as we're having a very small celebration.
I plan to make a little thank you favour (right now I'm thinking the new SU! matchbox with some wrapped chocolates) to go with closer to the date. Watch for it!
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today! Hope the rest of your day is great :)
