A card and some news to share :)

Here's a simple SUO card I made as a sample for my card camp a few weeks ago. For card camps, I try to create cards that are simple enough for a beginner stamper, but complicated (is that the word I'm looking for? maybe complex?) enough for a seasoned pro.


I wanted to use the new SU! in colours and also make a card that could be used for a man. This layout is one of the Fall to Layouts from Clean and Simple stamping. A star image is stamped randomly on the Vanilla cardstock using Versamark and the star image from Nursery Necessities. The sentiment from SU!'s All Holidays is stamped in Chocolate Chip on Baja Breeze and adhered to the bottom. A strip of Chocolate Chip paper is pierced using the SU! mat pack to keep the holes straight. I find that adding a strip of cardstock in place of a ribbon can give the same effect, but in a more masculine way.

Three stars were punched out using SU!'s star punches. The Baja Breeze and Chocolate Chip ones are adhered directly to the cardstock while the Kiwi Kiss one is raised on dimensional.
